Learn how to invite and connect your team on ConnexWork

There are a few great ways that you can invite your team to use ConnexWork:

  • Add them individually
  • Share an invitation via QR code
  • Bulk upload using a CSV file

This article will show how to add Users via your company admin site.


Adding a Single User

  1. To add one user at a time go to your company admin site and navigate to the accounts page. Click the Add User button at the top-left of the page. On the accounts page you are able to add, edit or deactivate users.

  1. To create a new user, fill out the form on the page. All fields with an asterisk are required fields while fields without are optional.

    For the Role option, you have three choices:

    • Standard: This is the most common role. Standard users can post content and redeem options.
    • Company Moderator: Moderators can manage other user accounts and moderate posts.
    • Company Administrator: Administrators have full access to all admin features and controls.

    Once you click the Add User button, our system will send out an invite email to the user you just created!


Bulk Uploading Multiple Users with CSV File

To get started all you need is a CSV file! If you don’t already have a CSV file or you are not sure how to get a CSV file, keep reading to learn how to get one.

  1. To add multiple users at a time go to your company admin site and navigate to the accounts page. Click the Bulk Upload button at the of the page. With this feature you are able to add multiple people to your organization at once.

  1. Once clicked, you will be taken to the bulk upload screen. This is the screen where you will be able to upload a CSV file and create users from it. If you don’t have a CSV file with the information needed, you can use our preformatted spreadsheet to upload

  1. With your CSV, you will need to have at minimum a first name, last name, and a valid and unique email for each user. Additionally, if you’d like you can add birthdays and hired dates for each user so that you can reward you employees with points on these special dates! We recommend filling out these columns to the best of your ability to have the best user experience.

If you would like to create your own spreadsheet from, scratch make sure to use these headers:

**Required:**

  • first_name

  • last_name

  • email

**Optional:**
  • birthday

  • hired_on


💡Be sure to erase any empty columns or rows on your CSV file to ensure a timely and error free upload!


  1. Once you select your CSV file and press upload you should see a confirmation of your upload, and the users you created will be in the system. If you encounter an error be sure to double check that the first row is just the headers. If you continue to have issues, please reach out for support, so we can get you set up!
