Automated Birthday Awards
ConnexWork offers three automated award posts: Welcome Award, Birthday Award, and work Anniversary Award. This article will cover the Birthday Award and how to customize it to fit your team.
Customizing the Birthday Award Template
Company administrator accounts can customize all three of the automated award posts provided by ConnexWork. This is done in the admin portal under the "Posts" tab and selecting "Award Templates".
After selecting the edit pencil next to the Birthday Award post, follow these steps to ensure your post is complete and will appear properly on the feed:
- Upload an appropriate image to attach it to the post.
- Follow the example text to implement the provided keywords and customize your post description.
- Set the desired amount of points to be awarded.
- Select "Save Birthday Award Template" at the bottom of the page to save your edits.
- Enable the post by flipping the switch under the "Status" category. This will activate your automated birthday post for your team.

Automated Birthday Posts on the Feed
After customizing your template, saving your edits, and enabling the post, it will begin automatically posting shoutouts for your team members on their birthdays. Here's an example of how your custom birthday post will appear on the feed:
