Utilizing Scheduled Posts for Holidays

Holiday posts are a thoughtful way to bring warmth and personality to your ConnexWork feed. They remind your employees that they’re part of a connected team that celebrates together. Scheduling them in advance ensures they go out on time and eliminates your need to remember to post during busy workdays. It also saves time for admins, who can create multiple posts when it’s most convenient. Holiday posts reinforce a culture of appreciation, tradition, and shared values across your company, and ConnexWork's scheduled posting feature makes this automatic.

How to Schedule Posts

ConnexWork teams can utilize scheduled posts to maintain a regular cadence for key themes like holiday greetings or safety messages. Scheduling posts is the same as creating a normal post with one small tweak:

Selecting the "Scheduled At" bar will pull up a calendar where you can simply select the date and time for the post.  After your post is complete and scheduled for a desired date and time, select the "Create Post" button at the bottom of the page.  Your post is now created and will appear on the feed and notify your team at the date and time you selected.

Why Post About Holidays?

  • Strengthens team culture by recognizing shared moments

  • Adds a personal, human touch to your company feed

  • Encourages engagement and reactions from the whole team

Make Holiday Posts Meaningful and Authentic

  • Write from your personal ConnexWork profile for an authentic voice

  • Include photos, emojis, or well wishes to make it feel warm and genuine

  • Keep the message short and focused on appreciation or celebration

Scheduling Recommendations

  • Schedule major holidays like Thanksgiving, New Year's, and the 4th of July well in advance

  • Use ConnexWork's post scheduling tool to plan a full year of holiday posts in one sitting

  • Consider less-obvious dates as well, like National Skilled Trades Day (first Wednesday of May) or significant dates in your company's history

Taking a few minutes to schedule your holiday posts helps your team feel valued and connected to something bigger than their day-to-day work. It also keeps your feed fresh, engaging, and aligned to your company culture.
